"Up to 12 Year Warranty on New Systems"
Certain brands have longer warranties, this does not mean that everything you purchase has a 12 year warranty, and the longer warranties usually only applies to the higher priced, top of the line systems.
Extended Warranties – Find out if the extended warranty is through a third party or if it is being offered by the company. If offered by the company, it is only as strong as the company. In other words, if the company goes under, so does your warranty.
"Free 10 year parts and labor warranty" – Always get it writing and warranties are usually prorated.
"2 Year LABOR WARRANTY on ALL REPAIRS" – Get it in writing – it's always prorated!
"1 Year Warranty on Repairs" – This is standard on most repairs, but you should still get it in writing.
